Anoia, Land of Castles

The app that turns heritage into a musical game

Anoia, terra de castells is a gamified app designed to help you discover the region alongside some rather unconventional tour guides: a young troubadour who speaks only in verse, and a mischievous goblin who communicates through strange sounds.

It is a unique, active, and fun way to uncover the hidden secrets of the castles of Anoia. This interactive journey invites you to step outside and physically visit the many impressive castles across the county, where every stop is a piece of a historical and musical puzzle.

What to expect?

  • An interactive map, featuring an innovative 3D design with 27 key landmarks.
  • Essential tourist information for every castle.
  • The song of Anoia, terra de castells: Your goal is to complete the song. At every castle you visit, you will unlock a new fragment. This piece was created by the renowned composer Ramon Soler and performed by singer-songwriter Lia Sampai.

  • History and anecdotes: Each musical fragment is accompanied by a brief historical “nugget” or a curious anecdote about the castle you are visiting.

Unforgettable characters:

  • Sança: A young troubadour who rhymes everything she says. She will guide you with her voice and her wit.

  • Rostoll: A cheeky goblin who will keep you entertained with his onomatopoeia and his love for a good bit of mischief.

  • 27 further historical figures to discover during your adventure, from Elisenda de Montbui to Asbert de Mediona, King James I, and Viscountess Engúncia.
